Shoe Making Weekend Course
Learn how to make your own unique pair of shoes in our new Two-Day Shoe Making workshop held in Buntingford, Hertfordshire.
This special course will offer an unique experience to create your own pair of stunning bespoke shoes from scratch in our signature style, by up-cycling vintage Japanese kimono fabrics. No previous experience required as you will be expertly guided through each stage by designer Hetty!
Please note this course will show you how to make your shoes from the starting process - you will learn how to use patterns, cut, stitch and make your very own pair of shoes over two days.
You can choose from 4 different shoe styles to make which include a slingback, a flat ballet, heeled sandal and a mule.

Saturday 13 August + Sunday 14 August 2022, 9.30-4.30pm
This special course will be held at a gloriously restored church in Buntingford, Hertfordshire. Lunch will be provided by a local cafe and there is on site parking within the stunning surroundings. This unique setting will host the workshop each day and you will leave on the Sunday with your finished shoes. Please note you may need to bring a sewing machine along to the course.
It will be a unique experience for anyone looking to learn a new skill or simply enjoy an interesting day out. Processes covered include; pattern cutting, cutting leather and upper pieces, sewing, hand lasting, sole attaching and heel covering and attaching. I have lots of heels to choose from from flats, mid height to high heels.
