FAQ

How long does the bespoke shoe making process take and how much does it cost?

The shoe making process starts with a trip to the studio in Kent or over a video call where we talk through every element of your shoes and take measurements. I then send photos of the shoes in progress and you'll come back/be sent your shoes for a fitting. Then the shoes are completed. The whole process takes around 8-12 weeks and costs from £750 per pair.

Do you actually make the shoes?

Yes! with my fair hands. I've been making shoes for over 15 years and have lots of experience in creating various styles. I also teach people how to make shoes on my courses so if you fancied getting stuck in you can actually make your own wedding shoes.

Can I choose what style of shoes I want?

Yes, the best part about my practise is you get to be a part of the unique experience. You can choose from a huge selection of styles, heels and fabrics. You can always bring ideas, fabrics, colours to me and we can create the perfect style of shoes for your special day.

What fabrics do you use?

I up-cycle vintage Japanese kimono fabrics, saturated in different meanings and designs. I combine these with buttery soft leathers for the linings. You can also bring fabric to me if there is something you are wanting your shoes to be made from. Anything is possible!
