These classes offer an unique experience to create your own pair of stunning bespoke shoes in our signature style, by up-cycling vintage Japanese kimono fabrics. No previous experience required as you will be expertly guided through each stage of the shoe making workshop by designer Hetty Rose.
You can choose from four different shoe styles to make which include a slingback, a flat ballet, heeled sandal and a mule, you will decide before the session and choose the fabric for your unique shoes. The course includes learning how to last a shoe upper and lining using a last, attaching a sole, selecting a heel and socking the inside of the shoe. Hetty is on hand the entire experience to offer her expertise and knowledge of 20 years making shoes. Hetty loves to share her knowledge and there is always plenty of time to ask lots of questions and demonstrations throughout the day.
